David Hejl is a Partner with Unique Partners and President and CEO of CPI International headquartered in Santa Rosa, California. CPI International is a developer, marketer and manufacturer providing global solutions in life and analytical science with operations in North America, Europe and Asia. The company’s products serve the environmental, semiconductor, medical diagnostic and food and beverage industries. CPI competes primarily in the rapid testing, chemicals/reagents, consumables and light instrumentation categories.

Prior to joining CPI International and Unique in 1997, David accumulated over 20 years experience in growth-oriented and turnaround strategy execution within the consumer products industry. His previous assignment was President and COO of Ruiz Foods, a $100 million premium-branded Mexican food company. Prior thereto, he held various executive positions in Marketing and Finance with Berkshire Hathaway, Nabisco Foods and Arthur Andersen & Co and currently sits on and has served on various Boards of Directors.

David is also a noted speaker and has been on the Marketing faculty of the University of San Francisco, McLaren School of Management and Marquette University. David is a CPA, received his BS in Accounting and Finance from the University of Nebraska and MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Robin Huff joined CPI International as the Accounting Manager in 1997 following her service with Next Level Communications, a leader in DSL broadband systems. Prior thereto, Ms. Huff worked for an accounting firm, serving in multiple roles. In 1999 Ms. Huff took over as Corporate Controller after helping to design many of the financial and administrative functions for CPI International. Ms. Huff earned her BS in Business Administration: Accounting from Sonoma State University.
